As far as I’m concerned, any time is dessert time. My favorite dessert is pie. Give me Chocolate, Pumpkin, Blueberry, or just about any other kind and I’ll be in heaven. I also love cakes, doughnuts, pastries and cobblers. I’m having cravings right now just thinking about it.
If you like dessert as much as I do then you’ve got to check out the two slow cooker recipes in the video below. They take minimal effort to make and will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth. Great if company is coming over. Enjoy!
Please give it a “thumbs up” if you like the post. 🙂
I don’t know why but I have always been obsessed with hiding places and ways to stash cash. Not that I have a lot of cash to stash but I’ll admit I like to keep a little bit in the house for emergencies, and maybe an impromptu pizza order.
If my family knew I had cash in the house it definitely would not be there for long. That’s why I need a good place to “stash” it. LOL. Check out these cool and clever ways I’ve seento stash your cash:Continue reading Stash Your Cash→
What do you say we do something different. Let’s have some fun, and get to know each other a little bit, by sharing our likes and dislikes. I have a lot of them, and I’m sure you do as well. I’ll tell you some of mine and you comment with some of yours!
Let’s get cookin’ with some “Cheesy Potato Casserole”! My Step-Mom Shirley graciously shared this recipe with me a few years ago. I usually make it for company and special occasions, and it never fails to please. Some of you may know of it already but for those who don’t, you’re in for a treat, it is so good!
People are always telling me I make beautiful bows. I must confess, I use the “Darice BOW1003 Bowdabra Bow Maker and Craft Tool“. I’ve had it for years. However, I just saw this video that makes it look so easy to actually do it yourself and I just had to share it with you. Happy bow making!
Just a poem to share with you. A friend posted this on Facebook, and it really struck me as I have been going through some rough times recently. As we all know, life can be hard, so I look for any inspiration to come my way. I read this regularly, and it helps to keep me going. Hope you find it helpful too! Enjoy.
Today I am featuring a craft project submitted by a guest contributor, Wendy O’Brien. I just love this really unique window valance she created for her small office in Pennsylvania. The window was bare and needed just a little something to filter the light. She wanted something that would also match some of the other office decor. Here’s what she came up with:
Let’s get cookin’ with some “Savory Beef Stew”. This is one of my favorite things to make in the winter. There’s nothing like a hot, savory bowl of Beef Stew on a cold, snowy day.
I know it’s supposed to be Spring now but here in New England mother nature does it’s own thing, and right now it’s cold outside, so I’ve decided to go ahead and make one more pot of yummy stew before we break out the grill for the Spring/Summer season. Continue reading Savory Beef Stew→
